We also automatically collect basic usage data like when you last logged in and which features you use. We don't track your reading activity outside of Marque.page.
How We Use Your Information
Your information helps us:
- Provide the service — sync your library across devices, display your books, and save your preferences
- Improve Marque.page — understand which features are useful and fix issues
- Communicate with you — send important updates about your account (we don't send marketing emails unless you opt in)
We never sell your personal information. We don't use your reading data to show you ads or build advertising profiles.
What's Shared Publicly
If you create a public profile at marque.page/u/your-username, the following may be visible to anyone:
- Your display name, username, bio, and avatar
- Books on your shelves (Reading, Read, Queue, Wishlist)
- Your ratings and reviews
You can make your profile private at any time in your settings. Private profiles are only visible to you.
Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and regular security reviews.
Your data is stored securely in cloud infrastructure. We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days (some anonymized, aggregated data may remain for analytics).

- Access & Export — download a copy of your library data anytime from your settings
- Correction — edit your profile and book entries at any time
- Deletion — delete individual books or your entire account
- Privacy Controls — toggle your profile between public and private
